Whether you’ve outgrown your space or just finished your stay, we want your move-out process to be quick and simple. Please review the steps below to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Step 1: Submit Your Move-Out Notice (Online Form – Required)

To provide the required 10-day written notice, please complete the online form below.



Make sure your contact information matches your rental agreement so we can process your request smoothly.

Once you’ve submitted the form, our team will mark your unit for pending move-out and note your intended vacate date.



You’ll still need to complete the on-site steps below before your move-out is finalized.

Step 2: Complete Your On-Site Move-Out

After submitting your online notice, please follow these steps when you empty your unit:

1. Empty and Sweep Your Unit

Remove all belongings, trash, and debris. The unit should be completely empty and broom-clean.

2. Clean Any Oil or Residue

If you stored a vehicle, mower, equipment or containers that leaked oil or left stains, please clean all oil, residue, or spills from the concrete before leaving. This helps avoid potential cleaning charges.

3. Take a Photo of Your Empty Unit

Stand far enough back so the unit number is clearly visible in the photo for verification.

4. Email Your Move-Out Photo

Send it to MoveOut@TriangleStorage.com with the following details:

1. Facility Name: Redmond Road Storage
2. Unit Number
3. Move-Out Date

5. Take Your Lock With You and Leave the Door Up

This allows our team to verify that it’s been vacated and ready for inspection.

Please note: Units left with items, trash, or unclean floors will be subject to additional cleaning and disposal fees.

Important Notes

Locked Units:

Any unit that still has a lock on it will be considered occupied and will continue to accrue rent and any scheduled auto-pay charges until the lock is removed and the unit has been verified vacant.

Move-Out Confirmation:

Once our team confirms your unit is empty, swept, and unlocked, you’ll receive an email confirming that your lease has been closed and no further charges will apply.
